Ottowin Shop
The wonderful Ottowin Store was created by our dear friends Lucy and Olly who make up Ottowin - producing beautiful hand made shoes. Their making ability and attention to detail as shoe makers and general creative genius' is inspirational, we are big fans.
In May 2018 they opened the store on St Nicholas Street in Bristol and bought together a collective of independent ethical brands. It a selection of makers and designers with shared aesthetic and ethical values from mainly Bristol, London and Cornwall who really compliment each other and we have all become great friends and peers.
We are selling our wares - our three styles of knickers and charcoal trunk, all part of project ~1 where working with Girish and his team in the small fairtrade factory in the south of India and working with two organic farmers co-operatives. We are also launching our New crop tops and vests in store which are part of project ~1. There is also organic skincare from Basho and their variety of oils, alongside socks for women by A woven plane - made in Portugal. OB Wear produces incredible clothes - which have a tailored finish and her fabrics are woven in Lancashire and mainly made with organic cotton and linen. They are beautiful cuts and so versatile.
There is beautiful artwork from Jay Harper, a Cornish based artist and Jessica Rose McGuinness, organic cotton shirts by Henri London who has recently spent time in India visiting her supply chain, Ren who also uses Khadi alongside her linen pieces to produce dresses and jumpsuits in natural tones and classic designs. There is recycled silver jewellery by the wonderful ZM Jewellery who is inspired by nature and adventure, Polly Collins jewellery and her amazingly unique sun and moon faces on her jewellery. Printed goods are showing their t's and their is of course the fabulous array of handmade shoes by Ottowin, also made to order.
