Pico Pricing Updates

Keeping you in the loop as we grow and develop Pico.

We value transparency and know you do too. We wish to continue building an honest, connected community through Pico so we felt it was important to explain why we will be raising the prices of some of our pieces over the next month.

Over the summer we have been working hard on our long term vision, taking into account important updates to our design and manufacturing process, as well as how we collaborate with our wonderful connections both in the UK and afar.

One half of Pico, Isobel, has now returned back to Portugal where she will be living for the foreseeable and Phoebe is expecting a little one at the beginning of next year. These big life transitions have been a good opportunity for us to really evaluate how we work, and how we can implement necessary changes over the coming months.

We truly appreciate the last five years of Pico and all of the support we have received from all of you; our customers and growing community.

Primarily due to the significant increase in the price of organic cotton, plus our recent VAT registration and an increase in price of other materials and services we use, we had to closely review our costings and the structure of our business; looking at how to grow Pico in a sustainable way. As a result we had to make the difficult but necessary decision to increase some of our prices.

We work with suppliers and manufacturers who share the same values as we do - to produce goods that can be traced right back to the source, with correct working conditions in place, no toxic materials or dyes, and support for the craftspeople who are treated fairly and with respect. This naturally requires a higher price point and part of our vision is to raise awareness for the true costs behind our everyday items. We will be announcing the price increase across all of our platforms to ensure all our customers are informed, and we hope you understand our reasoning behind this.

In light of these changes and as a thank you for your continued support we would like to offer 10% off our full collection up until Christmas using the code ‘ORGANIC’. We still have multi-buys, packs of three or five of our knickers and trunks, which when bought as a pack naturally reduces the price per item.
